Each participant assembled a 3D printed product from its component parts, which is a quick way to understand how a printed object is put together: how parts locate against each other, where the designer chose to split the model, and why a wall or a peg is shaped the way it is.

Do participants need any experience with 3D modelling or CAD?
None at all, we start from first principles. Anyone with a CAD background gets deeper design challenges inside the same session, so mixed-ability groups hold together well.
Can you run the workshop at our office?
Yes, and most clients prefer it. We bring printers, filament, laptops where needed and all consumables. Our studio is available as an alternative venue if you'd rather run it off site.
How big a group can you take?
Group size drives the facilitator ratio and the number of printers we bring, so we scope it per booking. We've run small team sessions and larger multi-department events.
Does everyone keep what they print?
Yes. Every participant leaves with the object they designed.
